God’s Promises: Friday January 29, 2009

Freedom from Sin; Self Righteousness; Comfort; Contentment; Food & Clothing; Death; Success; Long Life; Trust; and Redemption of Sin. Taken from the CBS Version.

Freedom from Sin: Romans 6:6-7: “For we know that our old self was crucified with Him in order that sin’s dominion over the body may be abolished, so that we may no longer be enslaved to sin, 7 since a person who has died is freed from sin’s claims.”
Wow! What a great sacrifice God and Jesus made for us. Do we have a right to complain about how hard we have it? Do you stop and think about the sacrifices He made for us? When one does, we should be able to refrain from sinning much easier.
Self Righteousness: Isaiah 5:21: “Woe to those who are wise in their own opinion and clever in their own sight.
Without Him, we are nothing. For those who try to go it alone, something always manages to happen.
Comfort: Psalm 18:2: “The Lord is my rock, my fortress, and my deliverer, my God, my mountain where I seek refuge, my shield and the horn of my salvation, my stronghold.”
I’ll tell you what, whenever I’m starting to let my guard down and the enemy starts to sneek in, you can really tell the difference. Stay in the prescenc of the Lord and life is so much more exciting.
Contentment: Proverbs 15:15: “All the days of the oppressed are miserable, but a cheerful heart has a continual feast.”
Amen and Hallelujah to that! Be happy, don’t worry, cast all your cares and worries up to the Lord. He will take care of us!
Food and Clothing: Psalm 111:5: “He has provided food for those who fear Him; he remembers His covenant forever.”
The Lord will make sure we are provided with all necessities.
Death: Proverbs 14:32: “The wicked are thrown down by their own sin, but the righteous have a refuge when they die.”
How sweet is that. Follow the Lord our God for eternity in paradise, or don’t follow and suffer for all eternity. Ewww, gives me the shivers just thinking about it. I believe!!!
Success: Deuteronomy 30:9: “The Lord your God will make you prosper abundantly in all the work of your hands with children, the offspring of your livestock, and your soil’s produce. Indeed, the Lord will again delight in your prosperity, as He delighted in that of your fathers.”
Do as you are expected and you will be rewarded!
Long Life: Proverbs 20:29: “The glory of young men is their strength, and the splendor of old men is gray hair.”
Ah yes, the splendor of gray hair, the crown of glory. Life for eternity when you give yourself to the Lord, believe, baptized, and repent of all sins.
Trust: Psalm 37: 3-5: “Trust in the Lord and do what is good; dwell in the land and live securely. 4 Take delight in the Lord, and He will give you your heart’s desires. 5 Commit your way to the Lord; trust in Him, and He will act.”
Life is much better when we put our trust and faith in His hands. Believe and receive goodness. You must believe wholeheartedly though, not just a part time believer/follower.
Redemption of Sin: 1 John 3:5: “Jesus answered, ‘I assure you: Unless someone is born of water and the Spirit, he cannot enter the kingdom of God.”
One must be baptized in order to enter into the Kingdom of God.One must be baptized in order to enter into the Kingdom of God.

God’s Promises:Thursday January 29, 2009

Joy; Meekness; Patience; Honesty; Wisdom; Sickness; Obedience; Courage; Fear; Hope; (CBS Version)

Joy: Psalm 4:7: “You have put more joy in my heart than they have when their grain and new wine abound.”
With the Lord, we can experience greater joy!

Meekness: Psalm 22:26: “The humble will eat and be sastified; those who seek the Lord will praise Him. May your hearts live forever.”
Humble yourselves before the Lord. Have faith in Him. Believen and follow Him and you will be provided for. Give Him praise as well and you will find eternity.

Patience: Hebrews 10:23: “Let us hold on to the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful.”
We should be faithful as our Father is. Follow His ways, wait upon Him. He always answers, even though it may not be in the manner we would like.

Honesty: Leviticus 19:35: “You must not act unfairly in measurements of length, weight, or volume.”
Honesty is the best policy no matter how we look at it.

Wisdom: Psalm 32:8: “I will instruct you and show you the way to go; with My eye on you, I will give counsel.”
All we have to do is listen. Meditate on the Lord. Read the word, follow.

Sickness: Jeremiah 17:14: “Heal me, Lord, and I will be healed; save me, and I will be saved, for You are my praise.”
Once again, ASK Ask and you shall receive.

Obedience: Deuteronomy 6:3: “Listen, Israel, and be careful to follow [them], so that you may prosper and multiply greatly, because the Lord, the God of your fathers, has promised you a land flowing with milk and honey.”

Courage: Isaiah 43:1: “Now this is what the Lord says–the One who created you, Jacob, and the One who fromed you, Israel–’Do not fear, for I have redeemed you; I have called you by your name; you are Mine.”
Just simply place your hand in His and he will be there. You have nothing to fear. Cast all your cares and your worries up to the Lord.

Fear: Isaiah 41:13: “For I, the Lord your God, hold your right hand and say to you: Do not fear, I will help you.”
We have the promise of our Lord our God. What more do we need?

Hope: 1 Peter 1:13: “Therefore, get your minds ready for action, being self-disciplined, and set your hope completely on the grace to be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.”
Oh yes, just believe, pray and believe, we will be taken care of!!! Hallelujah!

Irritable Bowel Syndrome Help! January 29, 2009

The following is a letter I had received from a very dear friend about solutions for IBS. She gave me permission to share this in hope that it will help others as well. This is very good news.

Well, in the past 24 hrs, a lot of resolutions for Amber. Praise God for that! For weeks, Amber has suffered from naseau, stomach pain, and I was so frusrated not being able to help her. All the medicines doctors gave her didn’t work. They kept telling us, give it time to work. Night after night Amber kept waking up sick, and sick in the morning, and nothing helped. Well, I now have the answers, and I’m very happy to say that, and it works!!! Some of you have e-mailed me back stating that you struggle with IBS(Irritable bowel syndrome) too; so I wanted to share what my mom referred me to. It’s a website helpwithibs.com, and then told me to go to Heather’s tummy care. What she suggests is really awesome. And she gives on her website the locations of these places to get these items or you can order them on-line.

Since we live in Boise, we went to the Boise Coop store. My mom said these three things really work. Peppermint oil capsules with ginger & fennel. Ya take one with a little bit of water, and it desolves in the intestine, and soothes and helps adominal pain, cramps, bloating, gas and nauseated feeling. Amber took one tonight, and within 30 min. she noticed that she wasn’t nauseated anymore–it really works.
Next, fennel tea; it’s a tea that relaxes the digestive tract, and soothes nauseau. One tea bag lasts all day, and I tasted it, it tastes okay. So Amber can sip on that whenever she wants to.
And finally, Acacia fiber; it moves everything along without direahea, and constipation. All the combined, makes Amber a very happy girl.
But not only that, we bought the cookbook by Heather; Eating for IBS. Ya know me, I don’t really cook a lot, but I read 40 pgs already of this book, and I have to say, she’s very wise and knows what she’s talking about. And the recipes; all 177 of them, aren’t hard to make. Heather knows as from the age of 9yrs old with IBS, and no resolution, she found resolutions. She also lists in detail, good foods and bad foods for IBS. And just in reading that, I already have the general idea of what I need to get at the grocery store for Amber, and what foods need to be avoided, and its really not gonna be that hard to do. And I will not have my dear Amber waking up…mommy my tummy hurts..anymore.
Praise God for his quick revelation and wisdom. Praise God for his goodness and mercy. If you know anyone, I mean anyone who’s cramping, hurting, stomach pain, naseated, gas or bloated or constipation/direahea..and they don’t know whats wrong with them, and doctors just tell them to stop complaining, stop whining, or, here’s a drug, this should fix it, its probably IBS. And I’m telling you, what I just said, really, really works. So there is no need for anyone to suffer from this. My mom told me this works, really works, and from Amber going from mommy, my stomach is nauseated, to saying, “Wow! My stomach doesn’t hurt anymore mommy. I feel good.” And best of all this is not drugs of any kind, its all natural. So, if ya know anyone else that needs help, you now have the answers.

This is a follow up letter:

Amber didn’t wake up at all last night and this morning, her tummy was fine. She was happy to go to school. After sending off the email last night, I noticed from drinking the tea, that it made me a little bit dizzy for approx 5 min, and then I was fine. My guess is that it not only relaxes the digestive track, but the rest of your body. Amber felt that too for about 5 min.
I don’t think its dangerous at all, but maybe only use the tea if you’re at home, not driving around. The peppermint pill capsules do great, no side effects that I noticed. I took one last night, because my stomach was hurting me somewhat and I thought I would check it out since Amber is taking them. They seem to do fine. Take the Acacia fiber twice a day. It mixes with water. There is no taste at all to it, none. Ya put it in the glass, stir it up, let it settle, stir it again, and then drink it. So,the only thing in question at this point, is the tea. I think its okay. Maybe take it at home only.

Pastor Weiners Message January 29, 2009

***Please read First Day of Group before reading this message. Thank you.***

The morning with Pastor Bob Weiner.

Genesis 1:26-28: Then God said, ‘Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our likeness. They will rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, the livestock, all the earth, and the creatures that crawl on the earth.’ 27 So God created man in His own image; He created him in the image of God; He created them male and female. 28 God blessed them, and god said to them, ‘Be fruitful, multiply, fill the earth, and subdue. Rule the fish of the sea, the birds of the sky, and every creature that crawls on the earth.”

We are called to raise up the world charges and be history makers.

Galatians 3:29: “And if you are Christ’s, then you are Abraham’s seed, heirs according to the promise.”

God made a covenant with Abraham. Every nation shall be changed and raised up.

When we think of the nations we shall pray first on the nations, then separate countries, then America, then states, then others, leaving ourselves last. We should never pray for ourselves first. We should be lifting up the nations, looking to the Kingdom of God. It’s not focus on the family, it’s focus on the Kingdom of God. We shall go to Him for everything.

What is the greatest inheritance we can leave our children?
The nations, through the kingdom of God.

Psalms 2:8: “Ask of me, and I will make the nations Your inheritance and the ends of the earth Your possession.”

Deuteronomy 8:18: “But remember that the Lord your God gives you the power to gain wealth, in order to confirm His covenant He swore to your fathers, as it is today.”

Your children are your arrows.
Train up your child the way they should grow.
Revival
Reformation of Society (arts, science, education, business, sports, medicine, family).
Restoration of the New Testament Church

Pastor Weiner had suffered a heart attack at the age of 38. He is now 60 something. When he asked the Lord why he had suffered a heart attack after being loyal and faithful to the Lord and doing all that he had been led to do; the Lord answered, “Because of pride.” What? I’m not prideful he thought. Then the Lord told him, “You have placed the whole burden of the church upon your own shoulders. Taking the burden is the highest form of pride.”

If we are taking on more than the Lord has told us to do; if we are taking on what we want and not what he wants; if we are trying to do it all; we are being prideful.

Get rid of that bondage. Delicate, let others help. Listen to what the Father tells you to do. Do not go it alone. It doesn’t work. Look at what can happen when we don’t listen.

1 Peter 5:5-7: “Likewise, you younger men, be subject to the elders. And all of you clothe yourselves with humility toward one another, because God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble. 6 Humble, yourselves therefore under the might hand of God, so that He may exalt you in due time, 7 casting all your care upon Him, because He cares about you.”

Greater grace goes to the humbled. Humility casting all your cares and worries to Jesus because He cares for you.
We are reminded that our faith is not big enough for Him. Raise your faith another step higher.
If you are worried about losing 20 % of say your house, why are you worrying when you have gained 150%. Quit worrying. Cast all your cares up to the Lord.

Are you taking on more than you should? Are you not following His instructions?

Get rid of anything that is not necessary in your life. To to a higher faith!!!

Do you have a little faith, or a big faith. Fill up your tank with faith.

1. Choose whether you have little faith or big faith.
2. Have faith
Romans 12:3: “For by the grace given to me, I tell everyone among you not to think of himself more highly than he should think. Instead, think sensibly, as God has distributed a measure of faith to each one.”
3. Exercise your faith muscle. Get rid of all the garbage in your life.
4. Walk by faith not by sight.

You must take your thoughts to a higher faith.
Thoughts = Hope
Hope = Faith
Faith = Success & Results

Thoughtless = Hopelessness
Hopelessness = Faithless
Faithless = No results, no success, nothing pain, agony, etc.

Everything starts with your thoughts.
Move your thought life up. Don’t settle for less than 9.5 % or less. Take every thought captive.
Receive an apostolic gift of faith.

His youngest daughter Evangeline Weiner has written a book called: The calling of a Generation.
She’s also filming in another country, but for the life of me can not remember for sure. Sorry.
Of course this isn’t all that Pastor Weiner had said. He talked to fast to get it all. Wish I had taken my voice recorder with. Hope you all got something out of this. It was really good, and we all had a wonderful experience.

First Day of Group January 29, 2009

Wow, I have so much to share with you all right now, I’m so excited, I just don’t know where to start. :)
Pastor Connie started Capital Christian Women’s Group today. It was one of the most uplifting experiences I have ever been involved in. I’m overflowing right now. I left there with chills (the good ones) coursing through my body, light on my feet, and feeling I’ve gone a step or more higher in faith. So with that said, I’m going to start out with what happened to me last night and go from there.

Last night I talked to my little sister to find out she is in a world of pain. The doctor has her on 2 different pain pills and it’s not helping her at all. She is unable to work. Unable to lift the babies. Good thing her husband isn’t working right now. She is so down right now, but…her faith has not left her. Also, she found out the mother of the babies is going to take them to court again to fight for the little ones.

Needless to say, after having just talked to my parents and hearing how the Lord has answered so many prayers for them, I felt deflated. Yes, I let go of faith to some degree, not completely mind you. I was hurt, frustrated, started thinking stupid things, angry. I just wanted to shout out to God, “Why? Why? She’s a faithful woman in you Lord. She’s following your plan for her. Why are you doing this to her. She’s been suffering for so long, and you just keep piling stuff on her. Why?”

So I went upstairs where I can feel His presence so much stronger. I sat there crying and praying for healing. Then he came to me and reminded me, Forward child. Keep your focus on the Jesus. I saw Him standing on water, and I was in a boat, and He said, “Step out of the boat, keep your focus on Jesus, keep Faith in Him.” So I stepped out of the boat and smiled, as I was walking on water to Him and He took me in his arms! What a beautiful feeling that was. Then I realized that I just needed to keep faith in the matter. I was still battling with what I was to do. Should I go help out, should I stay here as I have my grand kids to tend to? What was I to do. So I went back down and laid and talked with my hubby.

I so love this man of the Lord. He told me that this is in the Lords hands, there is nothing I can do to fix any of the problems that I’ve been dwelling on. Honestly, I’ve been working so hard on not worrying, as that is not good. That’s when I began to realize that I needed to let go of it, trust Jesus to take care of it all. Besides, as hubby stated, it’s His plans for us, we have no control over what happens, we must be patient and trust in Him. Hallelujah! Thank you Lord for saving my hubby and making him such a strong man in you!”

So today right after worship we were praying. I felt His presence so strong. Pastor Tracy told us to pray out for what we needed and to say I believe, I believe, I believe, I trust You, and so I did. I prayed for my sister and He showed me He was laying His hands on her and was healing her. It was such a beautiful feeling. I’m believing. Praise the Lord.

Then Pastor Connie began to speak. She started with Malachi 4:5 “Look, I am going to sen you Elijah the prophet before the great and awesome Day of the Lord comes. 6 And he will turn the hearts of the fathers to their children and the hearts of children to their fathers. Otherwise, I will come and strike the land with a curse.”

Well at first she was stumbling a little bit giving us the wrong scripture, but that was okay. We new we were in for a good message. Low and behold, just as she finished this scripture, her husband, Pastor Ken walked in, and she asked Him to come up and greet us. He did and then told us of a friend of theirs visiting and then asked if she would like to have Him speak. She said yes, and Pastor Ken proceeded to tell us what an awesome evangelist Pastor Bob Weiner was. We were all excited to hear this man speak.

Oh my word, you would not believe it! He was awesome. The man had us all squirming and shouting and just beaming. He spoke of two of his daughters. The one I can not remember the name of, but she was 11 when she was suppose to go to a camp on a campus. A woman there who was not a Christian had the camp stopped. (I know I’m not getting all the details correct here, but it’s close), but anyway, his daughter went and spoke to the woman and told her she was going to pray for her and she would find salvation and come to the Lord, etc.

That night his daughter while sleeping saw this woman burning in Hell. She woke up crying and cried for 3 hours for this woman. Then the Holy Spirit visited her and told her that because of her tears, the woman would be saved. The next day, the woman went to a priest, told him what his daughter had told her and how she felt she needed to be saved!!! She gave her life to Christ that day!!! Hallelujah, praise the Lord.

His other daughter at about age 6 was at a function or something when he saw a young boy in a wheel chair and asked the mother how long it’s been since her son walked. She told the girl that he’s never walked. Angeline, the daughter, tells the woman, “My daddy can make him walk!” She went to find him or a pastor. She couldn’t find any of them. So she went back and said, “I’ll pray for him as I have the same Holy Ghost in me as my dad does. So I will pry for him.” She proceed to pick the boy up out of the chair where he began to receive strength and stood as she was praying over him. The little boy that night ran across the stage!!!

Pastor Bob told us that nothing is impossible with God. I’m believing. As He spoke, you could fee His presence in that sanctuary. I so love being in His presence. When he finished talking, He then went around and blessed everyone of us with the placing of his hand on us. It was such an awesome experience. By then it was time to end our group. Each of our tables had what was called a table mom. She was to lead us in questions and discussion and prayer. It was such a neat time.

Our small group leader was telling us that Pastor Connie does not like to teach, it’s not her calling, but when she was told to do this, and received it from the Lord. He placed it on her heart that all groups were to stop meeting for now and we were all to be brought to the one class led by her. Thank heavens she’s obedient to the Lord. I know He is going to lead her to lead us. We have much more to look forward to. I can’t wait! I wish everyone could get a chance to listen to Pastor Bob Weiner. He’s an amazing man of the Lord! I am going to do a new post with the message he gave us, since this turned out so long. (blushing).

Titus 2:3 January 29, 2009

As I had mentioned in an earlier blog, our Pastor’s wife, Pastor Connie spoke on Titus 2:3 at our Ladies Night Out. I was hoping her message would have been posted on CCC’s video files but it hasn’t been. So, I will give you here talking points. The message was so good.

The scriptures she used were: Titus 2:3-5; Deuteronomy 6:7; Genesis 3:15; Psalm 71:18; and Psalm 89:1.

She talked about our seed-The hope of our Nation. What we sow is what we reap. It’s important to plant those seeds to help our Nation grow and become healthy.

The the talking points were on Strategies for the Preservation of this generation of Hope.

Here are the strategies that we should be implementing:

1. Intercede and battle for our children and the children and youth of this generation by using your spiritual weapons of warfare.
2. Preserve the prophetic words spoken for each of your children and what you are hearing God saying for this younger generation.
3. Reproduce yourself.
4. Grow in your awareness of national problems facing this generation.

Promote Christian Education
Think the Way your generational eternal God thinks.
Become “midwives” for your nation.
Do not honor your own children above God.
Show off God’s faithfulness to this generation.
Strategize on behalf of your children.

Like I said, I wish you could hear the message. It was very good, and would make more sense in what this is saying, but I’m hoping you can get the jest of it, and what we should be doing.

God’s Promises: Wednesday January 29, 2009

Children; Children’s Duties; Marriage; Parents Duties; Money; Lust; Jealousy; Sexual Sins; Gossip; and Laziness. Taken from the CBS version.

Children: Isaiah 54:13: “Then all your children will be taught by the Lord, their prosperity will be great.”
Get them in church, in classes of the church, whatever is available for them. Teach them young. Get the Lord in their hearts now, so they grow up in a Christ filled environment. This will make their lives so much richer and fuller as they mature.

Children’s Duties: Deuteronomy 27:16: “Cursed is the one who dishonors his father or mother. And all the people will say, ‘Amen!”
Teach them now that they need to show respect. Just today while picking up my grandsons at their school, so many kids shoved me around, no excuse me, no holding the door, rather almost knocking me over. I was shocked at how many showed that kind of behavior. Sad. We need to teach the younger generations. It is up to us.
Also, it doesn’t hurt to give them small duties and work up to harder tasks as they get older. This will instill good work ethics in them. Show your gratitude as well when they do well. Be builders!

Marriage: Proverbs 5:18-20: “Let your fountain be blessed, and take pleasure in the wife of your youth. 19 A loving doe, a graceful fawn–let her breast always satisfy you; be lost in her love forever. 20 Why, my son, would you be infatuated with a forbidden woman or embrace the breast of a stranger?”
Pretty self explanatory. You can’t have your cake and eat it too!

Parent’s Duties: Deuteronomy 11:19: “Teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit in your house and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
This is so good. What we present to our children is the molding of what they will become when they mature. Teach them when they are young, talking to them, setting good examples. Show them now, or be regretful when they are older.

Money: James 2:5: “Listen my dear brothers: Didn’t God choose the poor in this world to be rich in faith and heirs of the kingdom that He has promised to those who love Him?”
So what is all the hype about money? I had it put to me in a meaningful way; money is not the root of all evil, it’s how the people use that money that is evil. Really made me think, and it makes great sense. Spend wisely, save wisely, give freely!

Lust: Matthew 5:27-28: “You have heard that it was said, Do not commit adultery. 28 But I tell you, everyone who looks at a woman to lust for her has already committed adultery with her in his heart.”
This is probably one of the hardest ones to not commit for many. As it is human nature to look and like what they see. But…when ones lusts, (wants, or dreams of) this is not healthy. For many it’s a hard habit to break, but is necessary.

Jealousy: James 4:5: “Or do you think it’s without reason the Scripture says that the Spirit He has caused to live in us yearns jealousy?”
Rearing that green head of jealousy just makes matters worse. The person feeling the jealousy, ends up hurting even more. There is no point to it. We were all created equally and need to get off our high horses, quit looking down our noses at others and be accepting and loving of others. It’s not that hard to do!

Sexual Sins: 1 Corinthians 7:1: “About the things you wrote: ‘It is good for a man not to have relations with a woman.”
Meaning a woman other than his wife. This keeps the man pure.

Gossip: Proverbs 20:19: “The one who reveals secrets is a constant gossip; avoid someone with a big mouth.”
Gossip no matter how we look at it is hurtful, spiteful, and wrong. Tame the tongue!

Laziness: Proverbs 28:19: “The one who works his land will have plenty of food, but whoever chases fantasies will have his fill of poverty.”
In other words, just do the job, do it to the best of your ability. Don’t be a slacker. The sluggard is the one who pays the price.

God’s Promises: Tuesday January 29, 2009

Shame; Lying; Slander & Reproach; Anger; Guilt; Enemies; Prisoners; Loneliness; Worry & Pride. Taken from the CBS Version.

Shame: Romans 5:5: “This hope does not disappoint, because God ’s love has been poured out in our hearts through the Holy Spirit who was given to us.”
We should not feel shameful for those who believe, as the Lord is all gracious, loving and forgiving.

Lying: Proverbs 25:18: “A man giving false testimony against his neighbor is like a club, a sword, or a sharp arrow.
In other words, your lies can hurt. The old cliche’ “stabbing one in the back” is about what it feels like when your bear falsities towards your neighbor. So keep an honest tongue.

Slander & Reproach: Psalm 57:3: “He reaches down from Heaven and saves me, challenging the one who tramples me. God sends His faithful love and truth.”
Yes he does! Hallelujah! I can testify to this one. I’ve seen His hand reach down literally and save me. Thank you Father!

Anger: Psalm 30:5: “For His anger lasts only a moment, but His favor, a lifetime. Weeping may spend the night, but there is joy in the morning.”
God is always there to heal, to love, and to protect.

Guilt: 2 Chronicles 30:9: “For when you return to the Lord, your brothers and your sons [will receive] mercy in the presence of their captors and will return to this land. For the Lord your God is gracious and merciful; He will not turn [His] face away from you if you return to Him.”
Amen! Thank you Lord! Do not turn away from Him, lest you want to grieve for eternity, and you want the next generations to suffer as well.

Enemies: Deuteronomy 28:7: “The Lord will cause the enemies who rise up against you to be defeated before you. They will march out against you from one direction but flee from you in seven directions.”
Isn’t this great? He will take care of us no matter what!

Prisoners: Psalm 69:33: “For the Lord listens to the needy and does not despise His own who are prisoners.”
He truly is an all loving God.

Loneliness: Isaiah 43:4: “Because you are precious in My sight and honored, and I love you, I will give human beings in your place, and peoples in place of your life.”
We will never be alone with Him!

Worry: Philippians 4:19: “And my God will supply all your needs according to His riches in glory in Christ Jesus.”
We are provided for as long as we believe in and follow Jesus.

Pride: Proverbs 26:12: “Do you see a man who is wise in his own eyes? There is more hope for a fool than for him.”
It is not good for one to fluff his feathers and look down on others. For we were all created equally. We all have a reason. Where some lack in one area from others, they will pick up where the others lack. When we come as one, we accomplish so much more!

Aspergers Syndrome January 29, 2009

For some time I new the younger step grandson had some type of mental disability. I kept talking to my daughter about talking her fiance (PW) into getting his son checked out. PW kept saying that it was up to his mother, as she was the one with the custodial rights. I won’t get into all that. Any way, I noticed that CW was getting worse. He was having more and more problems. It’s frustrating being a grand parent that loves and cares about kids watch this happen.

Thankfully his mother realized she needed to get him some help. He saw a specialist today and they found out that he has Asperger’s syndrome. It’s a combination of Autism and ADHD. You can go here and read about it. The doctor is having a specialist come in and have him tested for genetic disorders as well. So I’m asking for pray for this poor little guy who is struggling through life, not able to comprehend much of anything. Had been held back in kindergarten, and I have a feeling the same is going to happen in 1st grade this year, as he has gotten to where he won’t do his homework.

Please pray that the Lord will guide his parents to do the right things, to get him the help he needs so he can lead a half way decent life. That they will get their lives together so he can as well. It really is an ugly situation. He loves the Lord sooo much. It’s a blessing. His birth parents do not believe. So this creates problems as well. I pray they come to terms and accept Christ and help their son. I pray that they become mature adults and realize what is happening in this childs life. He needs stability.

Also, if there is anyone out there that can lead me to people, or you are a person I can talk to that has knowledge of this syndrome, would you get in touch, as I would like to learn what I can be doing to help him along. He’s a good kid when he’s not having serious problems. He’s a very loving young man. It’s heart breaking to see this happening to him. Thank you and God Bless.
