A Plea for Human Kindness November 7, 2008

I just finished reading some comments on the Fox News Blog about Sarah Palin. I have to say, I’m floored and embarrassed for some of the people commenting. One of the posters commented about the reason for change is because the younger educated people have woken up and spoken. Well I’m sorry, if that is what being educated is; calling people morons, stupid, other things I will not post, etc. over and over again, then I’m glad I’m not a “young” educated person.

Everyone has a right to their opinion, but let’s do it in a non-immature way. Name calling? Come on, we’re not in kindergarten any more! Leave Sarah Palin alone. She gave it her all, ran hard for her party and was treated poorly by a couple of the campaign managers that are apparently looking for someone to blame. So now you have to get your digs in and make snide remarks to add to it? Wow!

I’m believing that what several are thinking is that the slams on Sarah are being thrown around more and more because you are afraid she will run in the next election; and yes, don’t bother telling met that you feel it will be landslide for Obama because she is what you all have been calling her. I’ve heard it enough.

Which brings me to another thought; I hear many non-supporters of McCain throwing out all these names, but yet, I don’t see hardly any McCain supporters doing the same. Hmmm. Makes you think huh? Oh and no, this is not sour grapes either. As I said before, I will support our President elect.

For those that have been slamming Palin for being a Christian, I’m praying for your souls and forgiveness on you, as you just don’t know or understand.

So please, let’s all be adults here and stop bashing Sarah Palin. She is a human being; despite what a few have said about her, let her be. Think about what affect your comments would have on you if someone were doing the same to you before speaking.

Thank you for letting me voice my thoughts.
